My presentation was on the question "Does language affect the moral behavior we acquire through life", and I decided to do a prezi. To begin the presentation I decided a physical example would help understand better, so I used two tedy bears as new born babies. This showed how we are born "empty", as a blank piece of paper. One of the babies was from a religious family, so he studied the bible and went to church every sunday, while the other one came from a very rich family, partied a lot and had bad addictions like drinking. Of course in the world nothing works like that, since as kids we never follow the exact path our parents want us to follow. This is because we have other influences, such as friends, media and teachers. This helps us create our own ethics combining all that we learn and choosing the one we follow, but still influenced by any other believes we decided not to follow. I think the presentation went well, it was not to long so people would get bored but also long to have good content. Prezi is a great tool because you can share your information in a cool way. I want to work on getting people more involved with the presentation so it can also be fun!
